Fieldbus interface
The MFI21A is an Interbus fieldbus interface module used with SEW-EURODRIVE MOVIMOT drives (motor-mounted frequency inverters) and their associated field distributors (e.g., MFZ11, MFZ18).
It is most commonly used with the following MOVIMOT MM..D type drives with integrated frequency inverters:
MM03 (0.37 kW)
MM05 (0.55 kW)
MM07 (0.75 kW)
MM11 (1.1 kW)
MM15 (1.5 kW)
MM22 (2.2 kW)
MM30 (3.0 kW)
MM40 (4.0 kW)
The MFI21A module itself is not directly screwed onto the motor but is fitted to the factory field distributor (e.g., MFZ11, MFZ13, MFZ16, MFZ17, MFZ18), to which the MOVIMOT frequency inverter and the drive motor itself are connected.
